"WE GOT OUR CA!!!!! We will book our flights today and leave in two weeks to go get our little girl. I am honestly floating around with a huge smile stuck to my face!
The CA is the American Consulate Appointment which is booked for January 31st -at the tail-end of our journey. I have literally not stopped flying about in the last two weeks. It is beyond magical and exhausting getting ready to go get our baby girl, preparing to leave our wonderful wee boys (and pugaloos) for two weeks, doing laundry, wrapping up all things work related, putting away all of our Christmas decorations, picking up parents from the airport and prepping everyone to take care of everything while we traipse to the other side of the globe, doing more laundry, finishing up Juniper's room, shopping for things like diapers, bottles, wipes, sippy cups, etc., doing all of her laundry and putting it away, booking our flights, making various payments for intra-China travel, doing yet more laundry, cleaning our house (with wonderful help from parental cleaning elves), dealing with our basement flooding (yeah- seriously right?), buying gifts for Chinese officials and orphanage kids, getting our third round of Hep. B shots, doing all our bills in advance, creating fun adventures and treats for Aidan and Sam while we are gone, grocery shopping and meal planning for the boys for two weeks, packing for us as well as Juni and gathering all of the essential documents needed for our trip... and did I mention laundry? I'm sure I have left out a thousand or more things. There better be at least one giant glass of wine at the airport.
I'm hoping to come up for air by tomorrow evening and be able to post some images of the nursery, list our China itinerary and share all our big plans. For now, I'm back to work into the wee hours...
